The table is a point of connection, cooking for loved ones has allowed me to keep in touch with family, the love of my life David and friends this past year. My life has been enriched with their presence and the act of breaking bread together over a meal. Today is the first day of 2012, it’s beautiful and sunny here in New York. I am grateful for those who have accepted me with all my flaws, no questions asked, just unconditional love.
This food blog had been an important addition to my life, an extension of myself. I decided this past year that it was time to pursue what I really love and enjoy doing, cooking and writing about it. Thank you for your support and encouragement. It’s been a privilege sharing my thoughts and memories with you. A grand happy new year to you all. 2012 will be as amazing 2011!
